Hello, my name is Munchkin I am a German Shepherd puppy aged 4 months. I came to live with Gail & Roger when I was just eight weeks and one day old. My original owners decided after two days that their other dog did not like me. Gail had waited six months to find me, a pup needing to be re-homed.
It’s great here, lots of dogs to play with! There is Grandma (Bonnie) who I think of as my Mum – she growls and bares her teeth at me just like my first mum, but I know she loves me – I lick her nose! I do the same to Uncle Derek (Tyler) and Uncle Grumpy (Boo). I often have chats with Grandma who tells me how to behave and to be a good puppy.
I am at least three times bigger than I was when I first came here, but I struggle to put on weight. My nice Doctor (Shaun) said I must not have too much exercise, but that I am probably like the catwalk models and will be naturally slim.
I take Gail out in the mornings, at the moment with Boswell as he is holidaying with us. We go up on the Tye and Boswell and I have a good run through the long grass. Boswell likes to roll around and I like to jump on him! In the late afternoon I take just Gail on to the cliffs and we play catch the grass and sometimes Gail meets other people to chat with. We also practice road walking when I teach Gail how to walk properly with me and how to stand at a kerb when I sit down!
I like to take Gail out with me and she has been taken to the hairdressers, on many buses, pubs, restaurants, shops, boot sales, along the undercliffe, but her favourite place that we visit is Ish’s. Ish’s Grandma (Diane) and Gail chat whilst we play and cause havoc!
Not too sure when I will be able to start my blog regularly – life is just so hectic!
